MBP Retina 15" Mid 2014 16GB RAM 2.5Ghz (Top of the line)
I am running Windows 8.1 on bootcamp and trying to play Far Cry 3 and DayZ on LOW SETTINGS but the game is still too slow to even move my mouse. I have a pretty good feeling that this has little to do with the hardware? Please help

You can try one of the following drivers. There is a newer Beta (347.09) which may also work. I suggest starting at 344.11 driver and go up towards the increasing numbers and test each one.
The 2013 and 2014 rMBPs differences are primarily CPU speeds. The GPUs and other drivers should be the same. If you try to download drivers using BCA (not direct manual download) check the version in Bootcamp.xml. These Boot Camp Support Software 5.1.5640 should work.
There are no unknown devices in device manager.
I did manually download the support software that the apple website recommended for the rMBP 15" Mid 2014, but my laptop is not listen in compatible devices..

Is it possible that the issue is appropriate drivers not been released for this rMBP for manual download yet?
Not sure if this has any relevance but when installing drivers I went into Windows Support > Bootcamp > Setup, in the Windows Software Drivers if I try to set up Windows Support > $WinPEDrivers$ > IntelHDGraphics64 I get the message 'This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software'
Does this install by itself when I run the setup from the bootcamp folder or am I supposed to do it manually like I tried above?
The drivers in $WinPEDrivers$ are installed and used during installation of Windows to provide installation support. Do you have any unknown devices in Control Panel -> Hardware -> Device Manager (Yellow triangle and exclamation mark)?
I am running windows 8.1 so the test isn't accurate but it's sitting at 1000-1075 latency and says it should be able to handle real time without drop outs.
These drivers will work even though I'm running via bootcamp? Thank you for your help
These are the drivers I have used 😕 Any clue what else could be causing the incredibly low frame rate?
I know 344.11 definitely works, hence my suggestion to start there.

344.11 worked, thank you 🙂 would it be foolish to install the newer drivers now?
I would definitely recommend trying them, after a System Restore point has been created.
