Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I cannot access music that I have downloaded from cd's years ago. The music shows up in my iTunes library, but is grayed out. When I hover over the "cloud" , I get the message "download from the cloud",. I hit "return", click the mouse, but nothing happens. What do I need to do? File sharing is selected in preferences. All that seems to be good.

iCloud doesn't store your music and all you can download is what you purchased at the iTunes Store.
iTunes Match service costs $25 a year and does store your uploaded files (even those from ripped CD's).
I forgot to mention in my posting that I do subscribe to Match. I can access my music on my other computers, but not on my mac mini, my main unit. This is the one I am trying to get the music from. It seems to me that it has to be a "setting" issue, but I cannot find it.
