boot camp patitioning

Question

I once installed windows 7 successfully by using boot camp. But that time I might mis deleted a disk and I couldn&#x27;t find the macintosh HD and I erase the hard drive and reinstalled OS X. And the second time i wanted to install windows 7, i followed all the same steps, but when i did partitioning disk in windows installer which was formatting the boot camp disk, it said setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. Can any one help me to fix this problem? Thanks

Are you using an EFI boot to install W7? Partitioning should be done by Bootcamp Assistant, not by Windows Installer?Please see https://help.apple.com/bootcamp/mac/5.0/help/ for the steps to install Windows.

The error message indicates that you are using an EFI installer on a MBR partition which is not fully created by BCA yet.Do you have a Fusion drive or a FileVault2 encryption enabled?Can you post the output from OSX Terminal (enter your password when prompted).diskutil listsudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

This configuration should work. Can you run Disk Utility Verify and Repair, before you try BCA?If it does not work, please try booting in Safe Mode - OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? - Apple Support.
