Q: Delete all music in iTunes Match.

My account is not syncing meta data and new artwork, so I would like to delete all my music and re-upload. But after deleting my music it keeps reappearing... I am not a novice with iTunes and iTunes Match and have been using it from the start. Last time this happened I had to ask Apple to delete my account and restart. I was hoping thing might have improved by now. Any thoughts on the best way to delete all music. So far it has only let me delete about 800 tracks, after this anything I do just reappears. Using the the latest operating system the latest iTunes

    Hi,

I have no problems following the instructions set out in the support topic. When I select tracks to deleted they are removed from the library and the cloud and moved to trash (if that option selected). The only exception is that you can't remove purchased tracks - you can only hide them.

A point to note is that there is no need to select update iTunes match - this applies equally to metadata changes.

Hi, it only lets you delete a limited number of tracks at a time. I need to delete all 11,000 tracks but have so far removed only 3000 in the last few hours. I guess if I persevere over the next 24 hours, I should be able to delete them all. Just tedious!!
