Flash Update Popup in Safari

I just received an Adobe Flash Player Update Popup in Safari this morning (sorry I forgot to do a screen capture), and when I clicked OK, it took me to an Adobe download page that seems genuine (from the link I saw in the address bar). But then I was still afraid so I went to system preferences, and updated Flash Player there.

Now I wonder if that popup is a real Adobe popup or it just took me to a phishing site... Anyone can tell me how does a real Flash Player Update popup looks like?

It depends on your settings, but Flash Player always asks me to install an update by showing a window outside Safari which allows me to download the most recent Flash Player version. As we do not have the link you visited in order to download the update, we do not know if it was legit, but you did the right thing, so there is nothing to be worried about

The normal update popup I used to get is something like an installation window with that traditional adobe design. But what I got this morning was a text pop-up from Safari so I wonder what that really is... Theoretically nothing could happen to my Mac because I didn't actively install anything but I'm just still a bit worried.
