Dec 22, 2014 4:45 PM in response to Nielby rendallren,Bought by the company I work for, for a previous employee who is long gone. The activation email is even a company address. My company eats the cost of the device? Wow, crazy. Why would anyone by an Apple product then? I don't get it.

Dec 22, 2014 4:52 PM in response to rendallrenby Niel,If your company has access to that Apple ID, with or without using Apple’s iForgot service, you can just log into it and turn off Find my iPhone.
If the device is supervised with a Mobile Device Management tool, your company can bypass the lock without contacting the previous owner or Apple; click here for more information.
