Q: customize data usage?

hi, if I buy a new I phone 6 plus, can I customize the data usage so when an update is available or needed, I can set the update to only download by wifi means only? so I can save all my actual cellular data for actual gaming and/or web surfing?, is this actually possible? thank you to all who answer in advance and merry Christmas =)

Hi sc00bs,

From your post I understand you're wanting to not use Wi-Fi to update either your iOS device or App Store app. To update an iOS device, it is required to be connected to a Wi-Fi connection. You can customize what apps use cellular data as well, which you can learn more about in the first article linked to below.
