Q: How much redundancy is built into Apple's cloud infrastructure?

Is my data lost if one of their servers fails, or if a hurricane wipes out one of their data centres?

Please make Time Machine back-ups.
If you want to make intermittent manual back-ups as well, you can use this guide: Archive or make copies of your iCloud data - Apple Support
