Dec 25, 2014 8:59 AM in response to Marty Fixby Bengt Wärleby,Hi
If I read right.
iMovie 10.0.6 - Can not set any Chapter Marks at all - and the work around by going via GarageBand is also shut as last version of GB can not do this any longer.
iMovie up to iMovie'11 (version 9.0.x) can set Chapter Marks
so can all versions of FinalCut.
There is no solution to this but using a Video-editing program with this function.
With possibiltiy to be proven wrong - Bengt W

Dec 27, 2014 7:38 PM in response to Marty Fixby Ziatron,I would recommend using iMovie 06 or iMovie 11. Both are available on Amazon as part of iLife.
Apple removed the chapter setting function on the latest iMovie.

Dec 28, 2014 10:39 PM in response to Ziatronby Bengt Wärleby,Hi
Just thinking if there is a way around ?
- Create each Chapter as a stand alone movie
- Export them as file 480p
- In iDVD put them in as a SlideShow
Would not this way both create a Play All button and as Chapters ?
Just thinking ?

So sad that Apple has to torture its customers this way.

Dec 30, 2014 9:38 PM in response to Ziatronby Bengt Wärleby,Yes it's sad. Since 1984 Apple opened new wolds - now Up-dates most often - take away productive tools - reaching out more to toy's and consumption than previous creativity and production.
I figure why ? Too easy to see conspiracy even if trying to not.
Yours staying in Mac OS X.6.9 as long my Mac's lasts.
