Q: I downloaded Yosemite now I can't import photos to IPhoto.

I downloaded Yosemite now I can't import photos to I Photo with my Canon A40 camera. Does anyone have this problem?

Did you upgrade to iPhoto 9.6 from the App Store?

Check with Canon. Perhaps it is not compatible with Yosemite.

I always use my SD card reader in my Mac. Seems to be more reliable and easier to use. Do you have iPhoto in preferences set to import when camera is attached?
