win7->mac connection , cannot select user

Hi, i want to connect my Windows7 - PC with my MAC.

I activate data sharing and go to options, then activate SMB. But if i want to select my user account it still keeps grey and cannot be selected. what can i do? thanks for your support. greetings

If you want to do data sharing you have to turn on similar permissions on the Windows box, you're on your own there though. To learn basic file sharing please read Apple's Mac Basics: File Sharing - Apple Support
