Ipad 4 stuck on recovery screen. Can't restore.

I have an ipad 4 stuck in recovery mode. I've tried every method I could find on the internet with no luck. I tried to update to ios 8 and received an error 3014. I tried it on 2 desktops, a laptop, hard wired to modem, disabled firewalls/anti virus, etc, etc. Now just trying to restore. It's stuck on a blue itunes connect screen (recovery mode?). Tried hard reset, dfu mode everything I can find. Just doing what I'm supposed to do. Update the software and now the device is unusable. Super frustrating. Any help is appreciated. I need this for my business.

iPad, iOS 8

Hello, krisdp.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

Here are the steps that I would recommend going through when experiencing error 3004.

Resolve network errors

Related errors: 17, 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194, 3000, 3002, 3004, 3013, 3014, 3015, 3194, 3200, or "There was a problem downloading the software," or say the "device isn't eligible for the requested build.". These alerts mean that your computer is either having difficulty contacting the Apple update server or communicating with your device.

Check your computer for software or settings that might cause communication issues between your computer and Apple or between your computer and your device.
