how do I find an iPhoto library file >30gb somewhere unknown on our iMac when it's not under my files for the user logged in. On the machine are 5 users of the family. I find the results returned are incomplete.

Hello! You can use Spotlight to look for the word "iPhoto"
Spotlight doesn't search everywhere in the Mac, you can use an app like EasyFind to look in ALL folders of the Mac https://itunes.apple.com/nl/app/easyfind/id411673888?mt=12
