Q: When I click within safari a pop up opens
I have had my macbook pro for a few years now. Solid state, no issues AT ALL. Recently this annoying habit was formed.
When I am in Safari, when ever I click on the page, anywhere (link, background, empty space, etc) Safari will automatically open up a new tab with an advertisement.
This happens on the initial click on every single new page that is opened. I tried searching within the community for previous resolutions, the most recent I could find was to do with a trojan "Vsearch" I could not find that within my computer, and the author responsible of the solution state the problem would adapt, thus the solution would change. I am running OS X 10.10.1
Has anybody experienced this and found a solution. I am not at all proficient in the world of computers, programming, or anything similar. I am usually careful when downloading and using the internet. Though I do visit torrent sites often.
As you can imagine this problem is extremely tedious and excruciatingly annoying. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Happy holidays (which ever one you celebrate)
Also, I just remembered. In the safari address bar, When I begin typing it will end in "- search Google", but when I press enter, it takes me to the Yahoo search engine with results.... possible connection?

Click here and follow the instructions, or if they don't cover the type of adware on the computer, these ones. If you're willing to use a tool to remove it(you don't need to, but may find it easier), you can instead run Adware Medic; this link is a direct download.
