Thanks Larry HN. I have a laptop and connecting an external drive would be too cumbersome. I wish their was some other way.
Next year the new Photos App probably will offer additional solutions

You could share all photos you want others to see as Shared Photo Streams. You can have up to 100 shared photo streams.
