Q: iCloud signout

I had recently switched from an iPhone 5 to a 5S. Prior to this switch, I had changed my original Apple ID from a sympatico address to a hotmail address. Now that I have my new phone; backed up and all, it will not let me sign out of my previous account (sympatico) into my new hotmail one. I've changed the password and it still won't accept it. Any ideas as to how I can fix this? It would be greatly appreciated .

If you are asked for the password for your old Apple ID and wish to delete the account, check out the steps in the article below.

If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud
