Q: Can I gift a specific movie for a friend to download?

My sister and brother-in-law's family in Canada use iTunes to watch films; we are in the UK.

I would like to send them the gift of a particular movie which I like.

Normally, I might just order online for a DVD to be physically delivered to them by Amazon.ca in time for Xmas. (But this Christmas, I have pledged to steer clear of Amazon as part of a protest at the near slave conditions they extract from their "employees.")

So:  is there any way I can pay iTunes (using my account) for my brother-in-law to download just this specific film?

I know I could just give them an iTunes voucher with which they could download any film they like.  But, somehow, it feels more like a Christmas gift if I give the one movie I have chosen; otherwise, I might just as well transfer money into his bank account - which doesn't feel Christmasy at all.

Is this workable. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Eric
