new apple TV - how to restore without micro cable

Hi everyone - and Merry Christmas 🙂

I've bought an Apple TV and it worked fine this morning, and now it doesn't work and keeps putting up a picture of connecting to iTunes. From what I've read I have to have a micro cable??? I don't have one of these. Am SOOOOO frustrated with this!!! I have a MacBook Air.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? I've tried unplugging etc.
