Q: new apple TV - how to restore without micro cable

Hi everyone - and Merry Christmas

 

I've bought an Apple TV and it worked fine this morning, and now it doesn't work and keeps putting up a picture of connecting to iTunes. From what I've read I have to have a micro cable??? I don't have one of these.  Am SOOOOO frustrated with this!!!  I have a MacBook Air.

 

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? I've tried unplugging etc.

you need one it's a very common cable all smartphones but apple use then for charging and sync with computers

most supermarkets should carry them

    Oh!! I didn't know that! Was getting incredibly frustrated. Thank you for letting me know. I'm in Australia, and our supermarkets pale in comparison to those in the States (I'm assuming you're in the States for some reason!), but I'll look tomorrow.
