Q: rescue email address and security questions

my rescue email account has been deactivated by yahoo and i cant seem to reactivate it, the unfortunate thing is all my reset links are being sent to that email address, which i have no access to. can anyone advise me on how i can reset my rescue email address? or advise on how i can reset my security questions without the use of that rescue email address.

If you still know your security answers you can log in at https://id.apple.com/
Go to Password & Security, answer the questions and you can change your rescue address there.

UUnfortunately I cannot remember the questions, which is why I tried to access the rescue email. Only to be advised my account has been deactivated and cannot not be reactivated. Is there another way

Apple might be able to re-activate your account and reset the questions AND the rescue address, if you call them and if you can verify yourself as the owner of the account: Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support
