You could have set up an account on this site: https://id.apple.com/ and then later added it to the family. If this is what you did in the first place, log in to her account via https://id.apple.com/ , click Password & Security and change her age.

messed you did... according to the instructions here > Family Sharing and Apple IDs for kids - Apple Support - the ¶ says
Use these steps to create an Apple ID and add the child to your family group:
- Go to Settings > iCloud > Family, and tap "Create an Apple ID for a child."
- Enter your child's birthday and tap Next. The birthday for a child's account can't be changed after the account is created. Be sure to enter the correct date.
The only thing you can do is create another NEW account with a new alias - Child'sNameTOO with correct birth date - for example, or better yet, let the child choose their own alias
