Q: How do I change the age of my child on iCloud?

So I was setting up my family and I clicked before I changed the birthdate for my son. How do I correct that?

    Hi Aaron Lytle, 

     

    Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities. 

     

    It sounds like you were setting up Family Sharing, but did not get to  enter the correct birth date for your child's Apple ID. As mentioned below, a child's birth date cannot be changed once entered, and you'll need to create a new account with the correct birthday. 

     

    Family Sharing and Apple IDs for kids - Apple Support

     

    Enter your child's birthday and click Next. The birthday for a child's account can't be changed after the account is created.
