Q: How can I stop iTunes from syncing the entire library to my iPad?

I got my iPad for a single purpose right now, to study some courses I'm taking. Every time I connect my iPad to my computer, of course iTunes opens and proceeds to sync my entire iTunes library.

I don't want my entire iTunes library on my iPad. None of it. I only want my study guides which are PDF files that I can drag to my iPad. Maybe later I'll want some of my playlists

How can I stop this and get all iTunes stuff off my iPad? Mail as well but that isn't taking up much room.

Hey allenz,

You can either set up your iPad to manually mange music or set what syncs when your iPad is plugged in by checking off each section of Music, Movies and other items that iTunes will sync to your iPad. Take a look at the articles below for more information.
