I want to download an MP3 file from other than the Apple Store but it says I can't because I am banned from getting them from any other sites. How can I stop this?
And by the way, since there's no longer a Search Field at the Apple Store or iTunes HOW do you find a album you want?

It sounds like you're trying to install an app, maybe an app that pretends to be an MP3 but is actually malware. If you got it from a website, please post a link. If you got it from a torrent, just delete it and never download another torrent unless you're sure you know what it is (which you never will be.)
No I am not. Please re-read my question. I have to download an MP3 of a new recording from Amazon because I can't find it at iTune because there is no longer a simple Search field. And a warning comes up saying I can only download files from the Apple Store and I have no idea how to turn that off. I never use Torrent and it's NOT malware.
An MP3 should open in iTunes. However, if you want to run applications that don't come from the App Store, change the setting in the General tab of the Security & Privacy preference pane to Mac App Store and identified developers.
You will still get an alert the first time you run an application that is not from a developer registered with Apple. If you choose to ignore that warning—at your own risk—right-click the app icon and select Open from the popup menu.
Thanks. That is totally greyed out but the "Mac App Store and identified developers" is checked and always has been. How about I unlock it and change to "Anywhere"?
