Suddenly the Facetime icon on my iPad has red dot with numeral 1 in it. It is acting like I missed a call. But I didn't. I've cleared all the recents, rebooted, etc. How can I get rid of the red dot?

I have no idea what fixed this issue, but through a bunch of FaceTime calls and some restarts the problem was resolved without my input.
GO into settings, then notifications, then FaceTime then switch badge app icon to off.

I'm having the same problem. I use FaceTime everyday and would like to use the notifications for it. Is there a way to fix this instead of turning off the notifications?
Same here. I've done nothing except a couple of reboots. The red dot is gone.
Forgot ... I did go clear all audio and all video logs.
