Q: Spam Posts in Communities

Hi,

Im on level 1 so i cannot report  posts but i want to notify that many parts of communities are filled with Spammy Posts.

The whole Developer Section And many other parts Please do something to make the Community more Friendly , Safe and sound

    I reported the spam to the hosts for removal, thank you for reporting it.  The Forum has gotten much better at preventing spam but it's almost impossible to catch it all when the spammers are at it 24/7.

    Those of us that have been around for a while routinely report spam when we encounter it. I am quite sure that whatever you encountered was reported by someone. Spam is annoying to all of us. Apple ASC people have made great strides forward in stopping/eliminating spam before it ever hits the boards.

    Yes; very much in agreement about the progress, Barry.

     

    I suspect these people (if you can call them people) make more effort during the holidays when they know the staff level is minimised.
