Q: Creating an Apple ID for my kids where gift cards can be loaded and not deducted from my account?

How can I create an apple ID for my kids so iTunes gift cards can be posted to their apple ID (not to my iTunes account)? My ex-wife gets iTunes cards for my kids (8 & 6), but would rather not have them loaded onto my account (since their iPads are associated with my account). Thanks.

Hello!

You cannot divide your Apple ID up into sub-accounts. The only way to do what your want is to start Family Sharing and create separate Apple IDs for your kids: Family Sharing and Apple IDs for kids - Apple Support
