You do not "export" to an iPad - you sync photos using iTunes or share then using MyPhotoStream, Shared PhotoStreams or email

Thank you. It appeared to me that trying to use iTunes to sync photos I would be streaming over 17,000 photos from my computer to my iPad, when I only want to move 5 or 6 at most.
Thank You As I said to another person who replied, I am concerned that trying to sync the iPad thru iTunes will cause it to try to stream some 17,000 photos to my iPad when I only need to move 5 or 6.
Make an album of the photos you want to have on your iPad.
When syncing with iTunes you can choose to sync all the photos, or just selected album(s).
