Q: iPad issues charter.net sending

i have read comments addressing my exact problem. Charter recently merged account with email accounts. Immediately after I had no issue with PC however am not able to send. My iCloud email can send but Charter doesn't work although I've deleted acct on iPad and started over.  instructions per iPad say it will automatically verify which it does and I can receive but not send. I have updated iPad so am current. Spoke wth Charter support and they sent me steps to use but I'm unable to confirm SMTP or imap on iPad since it doesn't allow manual setup.  I set up same account on iPad of friend who uses different company. Any suggestions?

    Hi sarcher1022,

Welcome to the Support Communities!  If I'm understanding your question, you are wanting to know how to manually configure your email account on your iPad?

The resource below will explain how to do this.  Compare the information that Charter sent you with the questions below.  You should be able to designate if this is a POP or IMAP account, and enter the outgoing mail server (SMTP) information.
