How long should it take to back up an IPAD. I have been backing for 3 hours and been on "1 hour remaining for at least two".

    I Have 40GB of content on my iPad 3 and it backs up in about 5 minutes. I have been backing my iPad up several times a week ever since I started using it, so if this is the first time for you, or you rarely backup, it will take significanlty longer than it takes me.

     

    Having said that, there is no way it should be taking this long for your backup to complete. Are you backing up with iCloud or using iTunes?
