Q: My child asked to make a purchase; the system timed out and told her I declined. Can I change this?

Family sharing can you change the answer to a previous request to purchase?

Hi there frappgirl,

If the request sat for too long and now you cannot approve a purchase, then the child will have to make another request, for you to approve and it will work just as before.

Request and make purchases with Ask to Buy
If the organizer doesn't make the purchase or decline the request, it will be deleted after 24 hours, and the child will need to make the request again.

Apple--Help! I'm trying to approve my child's request, but when I open the request, nothing comes up except the cancel button. It is very, very frustrating.
