    Click here and follow the instructions, or if they don't cover the type of adware on the computer, these ones. If you're willing to use a tool to remove it(you don't need to, but may find it easier), you can instead run Adware Medic; this link is a direct download.

    If your computer is an Intel-based Mac running later than 10.6.8, you may be able

    to use Adware Medic; if you have a PowerPC-based older Mac running 10.5.8,

    you could use the Adware Removal Guide from TheSafeMac to learn how to the

    removal manually. Older hardware and their companion system software are the

    topic of the iMac (PPC) topic, newer iMac (intel) is quite a bit different.
