How connect to an older version of smb?
Hi everyone I have a MacBook Pro Retina with OS X 10.10.
I am trying to connect to an smb server created by my router as a form of sharing content on an usb drive or hard drive. But every time I try it gives me this error:
"The version of the server you are trying to connect to is not supported. Please contact your system administrator to resolve the problem.".
I already have tried using cifs://ip instead of smb://ip, I have tried to use this command "echo "[default]" >> ~/Library/Preferences/nsmb.conf; echo "smb_neg=smb1_only" >> ~/Library/Preferences/nsmb.conf" too, but nothing seems to work!
Please help
Thanks
