Q: Can't get iDVD to recognize themes in Yosemite

I have iDVD 6 and 7 theme files, but can't get iDVD to recognize them

I put the files in MyUsername/Library/Application Support/iDVD/Themes/

And also tried HDD/Library/Application Support/iDVD/Themes/

But still getting this box popping up:

If I browse to the folders, the same box just pops up again

Anyone know what's going on and how I can get this working?

Thanks!

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

Go to iDVD's Advanced preference pane and point iDVD to the location of the Themes folder:

You might have to run Disk Utility to repair disk permissions afterward.

    Try this basic troubleshooting fix:

1 - delete the IDVD preference file, com.apple.iDVD.plist, that resides in your

    User/Home/Library/Preferences folder.

2 - delete the contents of IDVD'S cache folder: User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iDVD.

3 - launch IDVD and try accessing the preferences again.

NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

If you're running Mavericks or Yosemite go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:

Or, if you have the disks that a came with your Mac that has iDVD on it or a purchased iLife 09 or 11 disk?   If so use it to install iDVD and the themes so that it will link the themes with the application.
