Q: Family Sharing Purchase

I am in Family Sharing 'community' with my father and sister. My father is the Organizer. As I'm 21, I am the one who has to pay for my purchases, but every time I buy an item in the iTunes Store, the money goes from my father's account. Is there a way to change the settings so that the money will go from my account?

Thanks in advance.

    Hey there Mathiasss,

With Family Sharing enabled, the Organizer is the one to which all purchases will be billed according to this article:

    Family purchases and payments

When you set up Family Sharing, you'll be asked to confirm that you agree to pay for purchases initiated by the family members you invite and that you have a valid payment method on file.

While that cannot be changed, if there is an account credit on your account those credits are used first, so you could put some money into your iTunes account directly to prevent the Organizer from being billed with, say, a Gift Card:

First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

    Regards,

    Sterling
