Why can't my samsung laptop see my iphone?

I am trying to get my phone contacts on to my iphone but my laptop doesn't see my connected phone. I am trying to use Nokia Suite.

If you're using the Nokia software, it probably won't see the iPhone. You need to sync contacts through a cloud service, like iCloud or Google.

If the software is supposed to see the iPhone, contact Nokia for assistance.

After a Google search of the software, it is intended for Windows computers and Nokia brand phones running their Symbian software. A disclaimer even states it will not work with all Nokia phones. It will not work with an iOS device.
