Q: Random Folders empty on iPad2 IOS8.1.1

Updated to 8.1.1 few weeks ago,  now suddenly a number of my personal email Folders are completely empty. Not all, and not inbox. I checked Settings and they are as should be. Rebooted iPad, didn't change situation. Please, anyone help with this? Thanks

    re Empty Personal Folders email above, on my Macbook the folders all are normally full.

    Same problem here with 4S and iPad 2. I've found that I can restore the missing mailbox by going to Mail, Contacts, Calenders in Settings. When I get there, the account that's missing in my inbox is always shown. I open the account and flip the Mail switch from green to white and back to green. There's a momentary "Turning off Mail.." and "Turning on Mail..." sign. When I go back to my inbox, the missing accounts have been restored.

     

    But, really, I shouldn't have to go through this routine every time my device decides to hide one of mail email accounts. This thread is months old and Apple should've issued a fix by now.
