I bought a MBP 15" today, and I'm getting boot camp set up. I would like to be able to shut the monitor and operate windows docked with my [2] 2560 x1440 monitors. Is there a way I can prevent the machine from sleeping when shut?

If you have an external keyboard/mouse/trackpad and close the lid on the Mac, then moving the mouse or using a key on the keyboard should let you use your Mac/Windows normally by waking the Mac up and using the external monitors normally.

what happens when you close the lid of a computer in windows is 100% something you setup in the control panel under power options it does no matter if it's a native windows laptop or a macbook
