I've recently downloaded the OS X Yosemite on my iMac, but when I checked for AirDrop in Finder days later, it doesn't seem to be there. WiFi and Bluetooth are working fine. What should I do?

What model computer are you using?
Is it available in Finder's Go menu?
It's not there either. It's an iMac, manufactured in mid-2007, I believe.
AirDrop is not supported on your system.
AirDrop between two Mac computers is supported by the following Mac models:
* The MacBook Pro (17-inch, late 2008) and the white MacBook (late 2008) do not support AirDrop.
Just need to make sure there is a check mark in the box next to AirDrop

same problem here...brand new mac, yosemite 10.10.5....no airdrop folder anywhere, although I can send stuff to my computer from my phone via airdrop but it pops up in the top right corner.
You are entitled to 90 day telephone support from Apple. Try contacting them.
To get AirDrop back in your Finder sidebar favorites: Open Finder, In the top menu bar between the Apple icon and File open Finder, open Finder Preferences, open Sidebar, toggle on AirDrop
