Apple TV drops Home Sharing

My two Apple TV's loose the Home Sharing feature in I Tunes even though I Tunes says Home Sharing is on. When this happens (which is quite often) I need to go into I Tunes and turn Home Sharing off then go back in and turn Home Sharing back on. The "drop" never happens when Apple TV is playing. The issue happens when I turn the system on to view photos and listen to music.
