Q: My Macbook pro 2010 will not connect with JBL Flip 2. I am running Mountain Lion.  Any ideas??

thanks but that does not really help.  I have paired my JBL with iPad and iPhone.  I have read some advice like rebooting with command and shift held down with "p" and "s" held.  not working yet

that did not seem to work either.  could it be a software issue

I actually fixed it but not sure exactly how.  I am not a newbie so I was a little frustrated by the mbp not picking it up as my iPhone and iPad had.  I decided to download Yosemite and try.  It worked but I was also playing with the on/off and bluetooth button on the JBL Flip and suddenly they found each other.  I am just happy that they like each other and hopefully they will stay together.
