Jan 6, 2015 12:36 PM in response to dominic23by swe_dane,Having the same issue and it's extremely annoying! Have used AdBlock in Safari ever since it was introduced. Never, before, Safari was upgraded to 8.0.2, have I had this problem. Wrote to AdBLock and here's their response:
From: kieran (Support staff)
For some reason, Apple disabled all extensions in the latest upgrades, claiming they had "migrated" them. What it actually means is they have turned AdBlock off. You can enable AdBlock again from Safari -> Preferences -> Extensions
Hope this helps!
I'm aware of how to turn extensions off and on, except AdBlock wasn't just turned off, it was nowhere to be found. I reinstalled it from Apple - Safari Extension Gallery. Each time I closed / reopened Safari the extension was gone. I finally downloaded AdBlock directly from their site: https://data.getadblock.com/safari/AdBlock.safariextz
I still get the silly warning, but at least AdBlock stays put. Was hoping some smart tech person could write a-stay-put-script!?
