Q: How can i set up a apple id account for my child without a credit card?

Hi i have set up family sharing but now want to set up a apple id for my daughter. i have attempted to do this but i do not have a credit card only my visa debit card or visa electron. I was wondering if there is any way i can set one up for her ipod with just one of my cards? I really dont want to lie about her age just to create one

    Creating an Apple ID for a child requires the use of a credit card for your payment method in Family Sharing. See this article -

     

    Family Sharing and Apple IDs for kids - Apple Support

     

    Specifcally -

    Before you begin, make sure that you're using a credit card as your iTunes Store and App Store payment method. To comply with child online privacy protection laws, you will use the CVV or security code from a valid credit card as part of providing your parental consent. If the card on file is a debit card or another payment method, you’ll be asked to provide a credit card before you can continue. After you create the child's Apple ID, you can change your payment method back to a debit card.
