    iCloud storage is free at the basic level of 5GB. Additional storage has to be ordered specifically and paid for on a monthly basis. The costs are 20GB - $0.99 per month, 200GB $3.99 p.m., 500GB $9.99 p.m., 1 TB $19.99 p.m. (UK £0.79, £2.99, £6.99 and £1.99; other countries detailed here).

     

    So if you have ordered extra storage you will be paying for it on a monthly basis. If you want to downgrade to the free or a lower level you can do so as of the following month - please see this page:

    If you think there is something wrong with what you are being charged you should contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . Click 'See all products and services', then ' 'iTunes', and then 'iTunes Store', then 'Purchases, Billing & Redemption'.
