Q: stations created by artist not working

You will have to trust me that I have the latest iTunes version as of today, Dec 28/2014, inasmuch as I cannot find anything in iTunes which indicates which version.  Shocker, huh?  Anyway, I can create a station by artist, but they don't play.  The generic iTunes stations play, but none of the stations I create by artist play.  I click the arrow to start the station, it flashes at the top of the player for a second, then disappears.  I'm in this forum because, of course, Apple's minimal (virtually non-existent) troubleshooting help doesn't - uhh - help.

Talking down to me is not helpful and not appreciated.   I have tried everything in my power to find the Help menu in my installation of iTunes and it simply is not there.  I'm not naive.  You can take your attitude and do something with it.

If I could delete my posts here, I would.  I don't like being negative.  If my angry response was because I misinterpreted the post to which it was directed, I apologize.  It's just that Apple's awful "support" has been so bad for so long, I'm on a short fuse when I have a support issue for an Apple product.  Apple, Intuit and Adobe.  Three giant companies with giant reputations for terrible support.  I am not spending any more money with any of these three companies.

    ???

What makes you think I was "talking down” to you?

I have tried everything in my power to find the Help menu in my installation of iTunes and it simply is not there

Press ctrl B to turn on the menus.

Apple’s reputation for customer service has been top notch and at the top of the list for 10 of last 11 years - Consumer Reports.

I have a similar issue except I can access the stations I created on my PC but they are "unavailable" on my iPhone. I have a 5S with iOS 8.1.2.  The pre-made iTunes stations work on my iPhone but not the ones I create. I've done the end program, rebooting and even a reset but no luck. Any suggestions?
