NI,

What people do is remove their credit card from the account, and then redeem one gift card per month in the desired amount.

I don't want to se tup an allowance. What I need to do is set a max spending limit for every purchase that is made.

I have just tried to do this and because I have my son on family sharing ITunes will not allow me to take my credit card away. It seems as if they have you all ways just like Facebook.
