My Brother MFC-7840W is wirelessly connected to my network and I can print from my Mac Mini with no problems, but my iPad and iPhone cannot find the printer as an AirPrint Printer. Sharing is turned on for the printer. Any suggestions?

That printer is not in the list here: About AirPrint - Apple Support
It is not an AirPrint compatible printer. Brother may have an app you can download to your iPad/iPhone that can be used to send some items to the printer.

The Brother printer you have does not support AirPrint.
