Dec 28, 2014 3:30 PM in response to ginett2000by ChrisJ4203,There haven't been SIM tools in phones sold in the US for quite some time. You could go to the office supply store and buy an entire box of them if you like. They are labeled "paper clips".

Dec 28, 2014 7:47 PM in response to ginett2000by Meg St._Clair,Did the phone you bought come with a TMobile SIM? If so, it would not have come with a SIM pin. If it was a SIM-free phone, it might have.
But, paperclips work just fine so I don't see the point in all the stress.

Dec 29, 2014 6:03 AM in response to ginett2000by Meg St._Clair,No one here can speak for Apple. However, historically, Apple has tried ti minimize packaging for environmental reasons. As a SIM tool is superfluous for most people, it probably saves quite a bit of metal and other resources uses in manufacturing and shipping. Even small amounts add up. Personally, I don't think it's a small thing at all. I think it's a big and very good thing that Apple does things this way. If you want Apple to know how you feel about this bit of triviality, use the Feedback page: http://www.apple.com/feedback
