How can I go back to apple credit on my apple account?

BEfore Itried adding my debit card as a pay,dnt methoicon my apple ID, I was using apple gift card credit. And the payment method part of my account had , none, checked out. But ever since I added theaward number and all the info,draped done, I can't go back to using apple credit. And downloading any app requires verification..and it won't accept because it's debit card. How do I go back to none?

Before I tried adding my debit card as a payment method. I was using apple gift card credit and my payment method was, none. But now I cannot go back to none. It asks for verification of purchases on free apps, and denies it because of it being a debit card. How do I go back to none? (this is a more well written question. It is late and I forgot to check it for errors.)
