iMac 21.5 with Core i5 and Win 8.1.

Hi folks,

I have just bought my first iMac! It is a 21.5 inch with Core i5 and no DVD drive. I need to be able to run a Windows program - Designaknit 8 - on this machine and think the best way of managing this is by using Boot Camp to create a partition for Windows 8.1. I have seen some remarks on this support community that some iMac models are incompatible with this arrangement. I would be grateful to know if my configuration (with the addition of an external DVD drive) should all work OK.
