Can't tell if a book has been read

Problem: I often purchase 5-10 books on any given day. Many of the books have similar titles.

The Kindle app Library has my list of books with white or blue dots after each title. If the book is unread the dots are white. If it is partially read some of the white dots are blue. If the book has been finished all the dots are blue.

Question: Does the iBooks app have an indicator to say whether a book has already been read, or even partially read?

iBooks 1.1.1

I am using Yosemite on my Macbook Pro and the latest version of iBooks on my iPad and iPhone 6.

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 7.1.2

Hi

No, iBooks only shows a blue banner on books that have never been opened, but nothing more.

To know whether I've finished a book or not, I keep the opened page as the last one of the book, since iBooks keeps track of the page I'm on for each book and syncs it across the different devices. But to know whether a book is finished, you'll have to open each book.
